HDIL, JP Associates among most active stocks by volume

In the broader markets, BSE Mid-Cap index was trading at the 15,326 level, down by 0.56%, while BSE Small-Cap index was trading at the 15,831 level, down by 0.46%. The Nifty Realty index was up from its day’s low to trade at the 273 level, up by 0.44%. HDIL was the top loser in the index, extending its Tuesday’s losses. The stock was trading at Rs 53.4 per share, down by 5.32%. It was the most active stock by volume on the NSE. The total traded volume in the stock stood at 8,47,62,652 shares on the NSE.
Jaiprakash Associates was the second most active stock in terms of volume trading at Rs 25.1 per share, down by 4.2%. The total traded volume stood at 6,53,58,682 shares as of 1043 hours on the NSE. The other most active stocks in terms of volume on the NSE include Unitech, Gammon Infrastructure Projects, Sintex, Suzlon and GMR Infrastructures.
