BSE Healthcare declines by more than 3%

On Wednesday, S&P BSE Healthcare index extends loss from the morning session and is down by 3.29% with most of the stock in the red zone.
On Wednesday, S&P BSE Healthcare index extends loss from the morning session and is down by 3.29% with most of the stock in the red zone. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (Sun Pharma) was contributing majorly to the index losses and dragged it down further.
At Rs 479 per share, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries was trading lower by 4.28%.
Other stocks in the index viz. Aurobindo Pharma was trading down by 5.48% at Rs 686 per share, Star was down by 4.88% at Rs 984 per share, Marksans Pharma dropped by 4.88% at Rs 38 per share and Ajanta Pharma dipped by 4.80% at Rs 1,233 per share.
Natco Pharma was the top index loser slipping 10.13% at Rs 831.55 per share, while Cadila was down 7.42% at Rs 490 per share.
On the other hand, Themis Medicare was trading up by 1.70% at Rs 500 and Anuh Pharma was trading up 1.11% at Rs 173.
