Inox Leisure to entertain India with more screens

Announcing a huge expansion programme, Inox Leisure, the owner of multiplex cinema halls, has stated that it will invest nearly Rs 100 crore to open up 39 more screens this financial year and push its total of screens to 500.

Announcing a huge expansion programme, Inox Leisure, the owner of multiplex cinema halls, has stated that it will invest nearly Rs 100 crore to open up 39 more screens this financial year and push its total of screens to 500. As of now, the company operates 475 screens in 58 cities. 
 
According to Alok Tandon, CEO, Inox Leisure, a new screen pipeline for the remaining part of this financial year includes nine properties with 39 screens and 6,577 seats.
 
The stock though traded in red, slipping 0.24% at Rs 245.50 per share on the BSE. The company has displayed consistent profit growth of 53.19% over five years and has a return on equity of 7.99% for the last three years.
