Somany Ceramics to expand with new plant in Andhra Pradesh

Manufacturer and marketer of tiles and a range of sanitary ware and bath fittings, Somany Ceramics announced that Somany Ceramics Private Ltd., an associate of the company, will establish a facility in Andhra Pradesh to produce about 5 million square metres of vitrified tiles. The project is likely to be commissioned in the last quarter of FY 2018-19.
  
Meanwhile, the company’s scrip was trading at a lower level by 1.79% at Rs 779 per share on the BSE at 0918 hours. It opened at Rs 775.05 per share and attracted a total traded volume of 2,125 shares and traded value of Rs 16.50 lakhs on the NSE at 0920 hours.
