BSE, NSE to suspend trading in United Breweries (Holdings) and other companies

As per a media report, the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange will suspend trading in shares of United Breweries (Holdings) from September 8, 2017.

As per a media report, the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange will suspend trading in shares of United Breweries (Holdings) from September 8, 2017.

The entire promoter shareholding has been frozen with immediate effect and the trading would be suspended in UB (Holdings) on account of non-compliance with financial results and non-payment of fine for two consecutive quarters. 
 
The NSE has issued similar instructions to five other companies, namely, UBHL, Net 4 India, Sang Froid Labs (India), Oyeeee Media, and Spicy Entertainment and Media. Meanwhile, United Breweries (Holdings) stock slipped in trade over 4.86% at Rs 17.60 per share on the BSE.

The stock on the NSE attracted a total traded volume of 6,767 shares and a traded value of Rs 1.19 lakhs. The company has lost 38.48% over the past five years and has underperformed the BSE Mid-Cap index and the BSE FMCG index.
