Mcleod Russel India has decided to dispose its Bhatpara tea estate, a loss-making unit of the company in Dooars, subjected to necessary approvals.
A holding company engaged in the production of tea with segments in India, Vietnam, Uganda and Rwanda, Mcleod Russel India has decided to dispose its Bhatpara tea estate, a loss-making unit of the company in Dooars, subjected to necessary approvals.
The company has entered into an agreement for sale on August 23, 2017, with Voom Food Industries of Siliguri, West Bengal, it reported in a BSE filing on Thursday. Consideration received from this sale stands at Rs 13.21 crore.
Mcleod Russel India was trading at Rs 177.80 per share, up by Rs 0.35 or 0.20% as at 1030 hours on Thursday, on the BSE. The stock has hit a high and low of Rs 182 and Rs 177.80, respectively. It attracted a traded volume of 45,583 shares and traded value of Rs 82.31 lakhs on the NSE.
