With the announcement that Indian Hume Pipe has secured a work order of Rs 100.46 crores from Municipal Corporation Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, its scrip shot up by over 3% intraday on Thursday.

The order has been received for augmentation of the second part of the water supply scheme and distribution system at Bilaspur under the AMRUT mission. The project is expected to be completed within 24 months.
Meanwhile, the stock was trading up by 3.07% at Rs 524 per share on the BSE at 1146 hours. It opened at Rs 511 per share and touched its intraday high and low at Rs 528.70 and Rs 511 per share, respectively. The stock attracted a total traded volume of 16,809 shares and traded value of Rs 87.84 lakhs on the NSE at 1148 hours. Its 52-week high stood at Rs 570.45 as on July 31, 2017 and 52-week low was at Rs 288.80 as on August 29, 2016. On an YTD basis, the stock has advanced by 34.62% till date.
