The international crude oil price of the Indian Basket as published on Thursday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was USD 50.52 per barrel (bbl) on August 30.

This was lower than the price of USD 50.56 per bbl on the previous publishing day of August 29. In rupee terms, the price of the Indian Basket decreased to Rs 3,230.09 per bbl on August 30 as compared to Rs 3,236.45 per bbl on August 29. Meanwhile, the rupee closed stronger at Rs 63.94 per USD on August 30 as compared to Rs. 64.02 per USD on August 29.
