Media sector player Sun TV Network has been creating excitement on the bourses in today’s trading. The stock gained over 10% at Rs 767.50 per share on the BSE at 1007 hours.
Media sector player Sun TV Network has been creating excitement on the bourses in today’s trading. The stock gained over 10% at Rs 767.50 per share on the BSE at 1007 hours. On the NSE it has attracted a traded volume of 34,77,780 shares and a traded value of Rs 26,458.95 lakhs. The company has been maintaining a dividend payout ratio of 61.54% and delivered a growth of 4.56% over the past five years.
The stock has witnessed long build-up position in today’s trade. On a yearly basis it has yielded 64.16% returns and has outperformed the BSE Sensex and Nifty Media indices. Meanwhile, the Nifty Media index is gaining in trade, up 2.12% at the 3,029 level, majorly contributed by Sun TV Network. On the losing side, Jagran Prakashan is down 0.59% at Rs 177.45 per share.
Sun TV Network is engaged in providing broadcasting services. Its geographical segments include India and others. It is engaged in producing and broadcasting satellite television and radio software programming in the regional languages of South India.
