DHFL jumps nearly 5 per cent on impressive Q2 numbers

The company reported NII growth of 14.5 per cent QoQ to Rs 710.8 crore for Q2FY18 as against Rs. 620.91 crore in the previous quarter.

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) reported its standalone financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2017.

The company reported NII growth of 14.5 per cent QoQ to Rs 710.8 crore for Q2FY18 as against Rs. 620.91 crore in the previous quarter.

Its net profit for the quarter rose 12.6 per cent QoQ to Rs 293.3 crore.

During Q2FY18, the loans sanctioned increased by 68 per cent to Rs 14201.03 crore, as against Rs. 8437 crore during previous corresponding quarter.

Its disbursements during the quarter registered a growth of 51% at Rs 9949.72 crore, as against Rs 6608.52 crore during the previous corresponding quarter.

The board has declared an interim dividend of Rs 3 per equity share on face value of Rs 10.

DHFL provides housing loans to the middle and lower income sections of society both in semi-urban and rural parts of India.

The stock today opened at Rs. 540.55 and touched an intra-day high of Rs. 564.40 on the BSE.
