Top 5 performer stocks of Diwali week

BSE Sensex made a new 52-week high and was trading at all-time high of 32,699.86 last week on October 17, 2017. Whereas Nifty50 also made all-time high at 10,234.45 on the same day. Last week the market remained bullish with the onset of Diwali festival. However, during the much-awaited ‘Muhurat trading’ session on October 19 on Laxmi Puja day, BSE Sensex and Nifty fell by 0.6 per cent each. This dip was the lowest among the last 10 years. Yet market rose and has shown recovery by Sensex opening at 32,411.86 today and touched the level of 32,614.89.
