  • I expect a hike of excise duty on diesel cars, this move is environment friendly, and the diesel could be saved for transportation sector.
  • I expect a hike of excise duty on cigarettes and tobacco products, so that India can become healthier.
  • I expect increase in the exemption limit of income tax for individual assesses.
  • I also wish that Gove would do some concrete action to introduce the DTC.
  • To sum up, the common man of India should not be burdened with additional tax liabilities, rather he should be given a gift of smile in terms of exemption, rebate, relief, and deductions.

My expectation from budget: income tax exemption limit to 2.5lk, 1% interest subsidy for home loans up to Rs 15 lakh.. TDS limit may increase..Extra tax on diesel car, import duty on power equipment..fiscal deficit above 5% will hurt sentiment. idont expect FM reduce fuel & fertilizer subsidy..

Madhavi Km

Already EPF interest rates slashed by 1.25%....Anyway...Budget shall be focusing on the process of fiscal consolidation also on generating more revenues and attracting more investment....Be Optimistic...

Revenue is not a issue, it's rather govt's expenditure is of great concern. Budget should reduce fiscal deficit strictly controlling govt.'s wasteful expenditures on many useless programs. Budget must focus to creat jobs to increase productivity.
