Shree Cement, Maruti Suzuki and Suzlon are expected to be volatile today because of news related movements as follows.

Shree Cement has posted results for the September quarter 2012. On YoY basis the company has reported strong growth in the topline and the bottomline which grew by 55% and 492% respectively.  Whereas, on QOQ basis the net sales and Net profit are down by 9% and 35% respectively.  The decline is lower than our expectations due to lower than expected fall in the cement prices during the quarter.  The scrip may remain in positive today.

From the media reports Maruti Suzuki has said that it will start exporting the car from Gujarat's Mundra port from December this year. The first export market is likely to be Chile in South America. The new Alto 800 has been priced between Rs 2.48 lakh to Rs 3.62 lakh ex-showroom at Ahmedabad, less than the existing Alto 800 cc model, which is priced around Rs 2.56 lakh in the city. The existing 800 cc model would be phased out, while the Alto K10 variant would continue to sell. The Alto 800 has received 10,000 pre-launch bookings and despatches are likely to be completed within the Navaratri period. The car has received a positive response and it will start contributing to company's revenue in the coming months. We may see some positive movement in the stock today.

As per the media news lenders to debt laden Suzlon Energy Ltd have begun to examine option to take company to corporate debt restructuring (CDR) sale to recast loans worth Rs 13,000 crore. This is step to avoid hit on bank balance sheets. Senior Public sector bank executive said State Bank of India is leader of lenders and SBI Caps, its capital market subsidiary, had preliminary discussions with CDR cell to refer Suzlon for debt recast. The company has got a very large order book (Rs 15-,20,000 crore). The orders are continuously flowing in. This is a field where a lot of the investors are interested in. If the finances are set right, obviously they could attract other investors also, another. The scrip may see some upside today.
