Aurobindo Pharma Recalls 2 Lots Of Lisinopril

Aurobindo Pharma has recalled two lots of Lisinopril. The recall however is not significant.

Aurobindo Pharma has said that it has recalled 2 lots of Lisinopril tablets in the USA. Lisinopril is used in the treatment of ear failure and hypertension. The drug recall is of class 3 type and is at the distribution level. The company told us that these 2 lots have not reached the patients and hence no adverse impact is expected. They are recalled due to a labelling error (wrong printing of the drug strengths). The company sees no impact on its revenues. We remain bullish on the stock and would advise investors to hold their position in the stock.
