Q. I have been holding 50 shares since its IPO and would like to know more about the company.A. Arihant Cotsyn with BSE code of 514122 and face value of Rs 10 has been suspended from trading from the bourses. It has been suspended from the BSE on account of non-compliance with listing agreement clauses. Arihant Cotsyn was promoted in the joint sector by Arihant Industries along with Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation for the manufacture of polyester-viscose blended yarn. Company is wound up now and the court has directed IFCI to act in collaboration with official liquidator to carry out the sale of property. Therefore once they liquidate the company’s assets and make payment to the creditors then only if something left will be distributed to the shareholders.
