Nifty Gains 150 Points, Tata Motors Up 7.7%

The India markets are continuing with last week’s higher trades this morning. The Nifty is up by 162 points at 5843 so far, and the Sensex has gained 530 points to move to 19805. Tata Motors is the top gainer for this morning, up by 7.73%.
The India markets are continuing with last week’s higher trades this morning. A positive scenario was also seen in the US market, which closed above the 15k mark. The Nifty is up by 162 points at 5843 so far, and the Sensex has gained 530 points to move to 19805. Both indices opened up in the range of 2.78-2.85%.
The advance-decline ratio is on the positive side in the morning session. On the NSE, 1998 shares are trading in gains and 1313 shares are down.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: Tata Motors is the top gainer for this morning, up by 7.73%. Axis Bank, HDFC, Bharti Airtel and Larsen & Turbo are among the others trading higher.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: BHEL is trading lower by 1.3% so far, followed by BPCL, Dr Reddy’s Labs, NMDC and Lupin.
All the sectoral indices are trading in the green. Auto is the top gainer this morning, surging up by 439 points. Bankex has gained 302 points, Capital Goods is up 198 points and FMCG has also moved higher by 198 points. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps have also seen an up-move, both up by 65 points.
In the Asian markets, the Hang Seng showed strength, up by 208 points and the Nikkei was up by 196 points. KOSPI and Taiwan were also trading with a nominal positive bias.
Buzzer: Tata Motors opened higher by 7.7% at Rs 343. The stock crossed a major hurdle at Rs 330 and made a new 52-week high at Rs 343.90. If it holds the current level, it may see more of an up-move to Rs 350.
The Nifty has crossed all the major resistances and if it trades above 5800, it may see further bullish trades.
