The Indian markets opened in some positives today. Most of the sectoral indices are struggling to recover from their respective support levels. Currently, Nifty is up by 12 points at 6011 and Sensex has moved 32 points higher to 20261.

The advance-decline ratio is in positives at this hour. On the NSE, 1893 shares are trading in gains and 1369 shares are down.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: Cairn India is in the lead this morning, up by 2.71%, followed by ONGC, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: Tata Motors has dipped by 1.7% this morning. Sun Pharma, Sesa Sterlite, Hindalco and Hero MotoCorp are among the other stocks trading in the red zone.
Most of the sectoral indices are in positives as of now. Consumer Durables is the highest gainer so far, up by 51 points. Capital Goods is up by 48 points and Oil & Gas has gained 44 points respectively. Bankex and FMCG are trading higher in the range of 30 points. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps have gained 39 points and 23 points respectively.
In the Asian markets, Hang Seng has moved up by 95 points, while Taiwan and KOSPI are also in the positive territory. Only Nikkei and Shanghai Composite are trading lower.
Buzzer: Tata Motors has fallen by 1.7% in today’s opening session. The stock has made an intraday low of Rs 375 so far. If it continues to trade around these levels, it may touch the Rs 365 level.
Nifty Futures has taken major support at the technical level of 6000. If the index breaks this level, panic selling may be seen.
