Dr Raman Singh: The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Dr Raman Singh has reclaimed power in the state for the third time in a row. He is now a member of the elite CMs club of the BJP who have scored hat-tricks in their respective states. The introduction of the Chhattisgarh Food Security Act is also a master stroke that this senior leader has implemented in his state, which has worked very well.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan: Shivraj Singh Chouhan is also a member of the BJP’s ‘elite CMs club’. In the recently concluded elections in Madhya Pradesh, he led the BJP to an impressive win of 165 seats in the 230-member legislative assembly, reducing the Congress tally to just 58 from 71 in 2008. Presently, Chouhan represents the Budhni constituency, a tehsil in Sehore district in the Madhya Pradesh assembly.

Pu Lalthanhawla: Pu Lalthanhawla, the recently sworn in CM of Mizoram, has bagged the Congress party its only consolation prize. Lalthanhawla has become Chief Minister for the second consecutive time, and a record fifth term in his political career. In 2013, he led the Congress party to a landslide victory in the state, with the party winning 34 seats in the 40-member Mizoram Assembly.
