Markets Trade On A Flat Note

The India markets opened with positive sentiment after tracking firm global cues. At present Nifty is trading down by 10 points at 6311 and Sensex down by 46 points at 21243 levels.
The advance-decline ratio is flat negative side in the morning session. On the NSE, 1511 shares are trading in gains and 1562 shares are down.
Top Nifty Gainers: Jindal Steel is the top gainer for today’s morning session up by 2.51% followed by Tata Steel, HCL Tech, Sesa Sterlite and BHEL.
Top Nifty Losers: Bharti Airtel is the top loser for today’s morning session down by 4.07% followed by ONGC, Tata Motors, M&M and ITC.
On the sectoral front, 10 out of 13 sector trading on a positive note. Metal index is top gainer trading in morning session up by 129 points. Capital Goods index which is up by 66 points. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps are trading in positive by nominal gain. Auto index is down by 77 points.
On the global front, the Asian shares are trading on mixed sentiment. The Nikkei market is top loser for today’s morning session down by58 points. Hang Seng up by 66 points. The KOSPI and the Straits Times trade on some negative note.
Buzzers: HCL Tech moved up by 2.25% after posting better than expected Q3FY14 Result. The stock made 52 week high at Rs 1377.75.
Nifty support around 6270 – 6300 level and now trade around 6321.
