Markets Extend Gains, Sensex Touches All Time High Level

An air of positivity is breathing in to the Indian markets as both the index of Nifty and Sensex is trading in gains. The 30 share BSE Sensex is currently trading up by 182 point at 21457, it touched the all time high level of 21492 during the noon trade. The 50 share Nifty index is up by 56 points at 6383. It is on its way to cross the 6400 mark. Bankex leads the sectoral indices and is up by 201 points.
The Indian markets are trading with a positive bias and extended initial gains in mid-morning trade. The Nifty is trading at 6383 up by 56 points and Sensex is trading at 21457 up by 182 points.
The advance-decline ratio is tilted towards the positive side in the morning session. On the NSE, 1936 shares are trading in gains and 1400 shares are trading in red.
Top Nifty Gainers: Jaiprakash Asso is the top gainer in the mid-session up by 4.87%, followed by DLF, BHEL, UltraTech Cement and Grasim.
Top Nifty Losers: Tata Motors is the top loser for morning session down by 1.14%, followed by Lupin, Cipla, TCS and Wipro.
On a sectoral basis all the indices are trading in green. Bankex is top gainer trading in mid-session up by 201 points. It is followed by Metals and Capital Goods which are trading higher by 180 points and 160 points respectively. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps too trade with positive bias gaining 102 points and 77 points respectively.
On the global front, the Asian shares are trading in green. Nikkei is top gainer so for up by 237 points, Hang Seng is up by 123 points. The Taiwan index and Straits Times trade on a positive note.
Buzzers:- Thomas Cook stock is up 3%, touching to Rs 79 after company launched 'marhaba' Meet & Greet, Visa services for UAE & Bahrain.
The Nifty future is trading at 6421 level and above the resistance at 6350-6370 level. Going ahead may see upward moves.
