Hero MotoCorp unveiled the all-new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 as part of its updated 125cc commuter motorcycle portfolio. The company priced the motorcycle at Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the model is now available across dealerships in India.
The launch marks a major refresh for the Splendor brand, which has been present in the domestic mobility segment since 1994. Hero MotoCorp stated that the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 has been designed to combine performance, fuel efficiency and connectivity features for everyday commuters.
Motorcycle offers 72 kmpl claimed mileage
The motorcycle is powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine producing 10.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 10.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
Hero MotoCorp stated that the engine has been tuned for smooth acceleration and responsiveness across different riding conditions. The company claimed best-in-class mileage of 72 kmpl through the use of Advanced Programmed Fuel Injection (APFI) and the i3S Idle Stop-Start System.
The motorcycle also features an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) for near-silent engine start and restart during stop-start traffic situations.
Hero MotoCorp Bluetooth connectivity and safety features added
The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 introduces segment-first hazard lights in the Super Splendor lineup along with a front disc brake and handlebar-mounted engine kill switch.
Technology upgrades include a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity supporting incoming call alerts, SMS notifications, missed call alerts, caller ID and mobile battery status indication.
Additional features include a Real Time Mileage Indicator (RTMi), Low Fuel Indicator and a 2 Amp USB Type-C charging port.
The motorcycle is available in five colour variants including Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue and Matt Chestnut Brown.

Hero MotoCorp Ltd traded at Rs 5,074.30 on May 27, 2026, at 3:50 PM, compared to the previous close of Rs 4,983, reflecting a gain of 1.83 per cent during the session.
The stock has delivered returns of around 14.50 per cent over the past year, while two-year and three-year returns stood at negative 2.47 per cent and 81.74 per cent respectively. The stock’s 52-week high and low stood at Rs 6,351.45 and Rs 4,178.25, respectively. Foreign institutional investor holdings increased to 31.15 per cent from 29.43 per cent, while domestic institutional investor holdings declined to 24.77 per cent from 26.36 per cent.
