Netweb Technologies made its market debut in July 2023 with an IPO price of Rs 500 per share. By October 6, 2026, the NSE closing price had reached Rs 4,746.20.
That works out to a gain of roughly 849 per cent from the IPO price. The stock has been volatile along the way, however, and had touched a 52-week high of Rs 5,813 in August 2026.
The sharp rise has coincided with a substantial improvement in the company's financial performance.
AI Has Become A Major Growth Driver
Operating revenue rose 90 per cent to Rs 2,183.56 crore, while PAT increased 80.9 per cent to Rs 205.8 crore. The company also ended FY26 with an Order Book of Rs 472.4 crore.
The biggest change came from AI Systems. Revenue from this business increased 459.6 per cent year-on-year, and AI Systems accounted for 43.4 per cent of operating revenue during FY26.
Why AI Infrastructure Matters
AI applications require significant computing power, particularly GPU based systems. This has created growing demand for high performance computing infrastructure among enterprises, data centres, government organisations and research institutions.
Netweb operates across several related areas, including high performance computing, private cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure, AI systems, high performance storage and data centre servers.
The company has therefore gained exposure to a broader technology infrastructure cycle rather than relying on a single product category.
Strong Growth Comes With Higher Expectations
The financial growth explains much of the market's interest, but the stock's valuation also reflects high expectations.
The shares closed at Rs 4,746.20 on October 6, while the 52-week high stands at Rs 5,813. The stock was also trading at a trailing P/E of more than 100 times based on recent market data.
At this stage, continued earnings growth becomes important. The company will need to convert its AI opportunity and order pipeline into sustained revenue and profit growth.
