Q4 FY26 Results: QoQ and YoY Performance
Revenue from operations stood at Rs 7,443.27 crore in Q4FY26, compared to Rs 6,729.65 crore in Q3FY26, registering a growth of 10.61 per cent QoQ. On a YoY basis, revenue increased from Rs 6,374.58 crore, reflecting a growth of 16.77 per cent YoY. Total income for the quarter came in at Rs 7,588.08 crore, compared to Rs 6,944.44 crore in the previous quarter.
Profit after Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 722.65 crore in Q4FY26, compared to Rs 574.06 crore in Q3FY26, marking a growth of 25.88 per cent QoQ. On a YoY basis, PAT increased from Rs 713.66 crore, registering a growth of 1.26 per cent YoY. Profit before tax (PBT) stood at Rs 910.07 crore, compared to Rs 801.05 crore in the previous quarter, reflecting a growth of 13.61 per cent QoQ, while on a YoY basis it declined from Rs 973.95 crore, down 6.56 per cent YoY.

FY26 Annual Performance
For the full financial year FY26, revenue from operations stood at Rs 27,588.03 crore, compared to Rs 23,767.09 crore in FY25, registering a growth of 16.07 per cent YoY. Total income increased to Rs 28,325.16 crore, up from Rs 24,446.55 crore in the previous year. Profit after tax for FY26 came in at Rs 2,392.75 crore, compared to Rs 921.69 crore in FY25, reflecting a sharp growth of 159.60 per cent YoY. Profit before tax stood at Rs 3,114.84 crore, compared to Rs 1,074.85 crore in FY25, showing strong expansion in profitability.

Segment Performance
The transmission segment reported operating revenue of Rs 1,286 crore in Q4FY26, up 7.0 per cent YoY, while EBITDA stood at Rs 1,163 crore, reflecting steady performance with margins around 90 per cent.
The distribution segment reported revenue of Rs 2,869 crore, remaining largely stable YoY, while EBITDA declined marginally to Rs 608 crore.
The smart metering segment saw strong growth, with revenue rising sharply to Rs 215 crore from Rs 28 crore, supported by rapid deployment and scaling of projects. The trading and other segment reported revenue of Rs 761 crore, up 85.0 per cent YoY, indicating diversification in revenue streams.

Operational Highlights
The transmission network expanded to 27,949 ckm, with system availability maintained above 99.7 per cent, reflecting strong operational efficiency. In distribution, units sold increased to 2,508 MUs in Q4FY26 from 2,413 MUs, while distribution losses improved to 4.20 per cent, among the lowest levels. The smart metering business saw cumulative installations reach 113.6 lakh meters, highlighting strong execution capabilities and scaling momentum.

Capex, Order Book and Growth Pipeline
The company reported capex of Rs 14,232 crore in FY26, compared to Rs 11,444 crore in FY25, reflecting accelerated investment in infrastructure. The transmission project pipeline under Construction stands at Rs 71,779 crore, while the smart metering order book remains strong at 2.46 crore meters, with a revenue potential of Rs 29,519 crore.

Key Developments
During the quarter, the company commissioned multiple projects including the Mumbai HVDC project, strengthening its transmission capabilities. It also crossed the milestone of installing over 1 crore smart meters, setting industry benchmarks in digital infrastructure deployment.
