Adani Energy Solutions Q1FY27 Financial Performance

On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations increased 42.41 per cent YoY to Rs 9,711.08 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 6,819.28 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income rose 40.24 per cent YoY to Rs 9,852.20 crore from Rs 7,025.49 crore.

The company reported a profit before tax of Rs 1,441.04 crore, up 118.99 per cent YoY from Rs 658.05 crore in Q1 FY26. Profit after tax surged 129.45 per cent YoY to Rs 1,236.56 crore, compared with Rs 538.94 crore in the year-ago quarter. Profit attributable to the owners of the company stood at Rs 1,149.06 crore, against Rs 512.48 crore a year earlier. Basic earnings per share increased to Rs 9.57 from Rs 4.27 in Q1 FY26.

Strong Growth Across Business Segments

The transmission business generated Rs 3,335.26 crore in revenue during the quarter, while the distribution business contributed Rs 3,520.43 crore. Revenue from the smart metering segment stood at Rs 346.99 crore, while the Energy Solutions Platform contributed Rs 1,906.83 crore, reflecting continued expansion across the company's diversified businesses.

Healthy Balance Sheet

As of June 30, 2026, the company's net worth increased to Rs 25,418.41 crore from Rs 22,523.62 crore a year earlier. Total assets rose to Rs 97,680.23 crore, while total borrowings stood at Rs 50,841.67 crore. The company maintained a current ratio of 1.26, reflecting a stable liquidity position.

Regulatory Update

The company stated that proceedings relating to a non-executive director before the United States Department of Justice (US DOJ) and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) do not pertain to Adani Energy Solutions, and accordingly, there was no impact on the company's financial statements as of the reporting date.
