Download Service BrochureAstra Microwave Products Limited informed the exchanges that it has received an order from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the procurement of 122 Advanced Array Antenna Units (AAAU) and 121 Interface Frames for the Uttam Radar programme.
The total contract value stands at Rs 2,205.23 crore, inclusive of all applicable Taxes and GST. The company stated that the order is to be executed within five years.
Strategic Significance
The order has been awarded by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Defence. The Uttam Radar programme is an important indigenous defence initiative aimed at strengthening India's advanced airborne radar capabilities.
The company also clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity and that the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.

Shareholding Pattern
The company's institutional shareholding strengthened during the June 2026 quarter. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) increased their stake to 10.74 per cent from 7.56 per cent in the March 2026 quarter, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) raised their holding to 16.09 per cent from 15.42 per cent. Public shareholding declined to 66.64 per cent from 70.49 per cent, while promoter holding remained unchanged at 6.54 per cent, indicating increased institutional interest in the company.
