The domestic benchmark indices plunged in the opening trade. Even at 12.12 pm, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were spotted in the negative territory i.e. at 55,553.00 and 16,560.75 levels, plummeting 2.93 per cent & 2.94 per cent, respectively.
