Sensex as well as Nifty opened Thursday's trading session with gains. At 12.08 pm, Sensex was seen trading at 55,643.73 level, inching higher by 0.32 per cent while Nifty advanced 0.28 per cent to be at 16,652.50 level.
The top gainers of today's session include Wipro, HCL Technologies, and Tech Mahindra, which soared 3.54 per cent, 3.05 per cent & 3.01 per cent, respectively. On the other hand, Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, and Dr Reddy's Laboratories turned out to be the top losers, which tanked 3.49 per cent, 3.00 per cent & 1.71 per cent, respectively.
