Hyundai Motor India reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations declined 0.5 per cent YoY and 13.6 per cent QoQ to Rs 16,334.63 crore, compared with Rs 16,412.88 crore in the corresponding quarter last year and Rs 18,916.15 crore in the previous quarter.

Download Service BrochureProfit before Tax (PBT) declined 35.0 per cent YoY and 25.1 per cent QoQ to Rs 1,201.65 crore, compared with Rs 1,847.20 crore in Q1 FY26 and Rs 1,603.87 crore in Q4 FY26.
Profit after tax (PAT) fell 35.1 per cent YoY and 29.2 per cent QoQ to Rs 888.62 crore, compared with Rs 1,369.23 crore in the year-ago quarter and Rs 1,255.63 crore in the preceding quarter. Earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs 10.94, compared with Rs 16.85 in Q1 FY26.
Operational Performance
During the quarter, total income stood at Rs 16,609 crore, while total expenses were Rs 15,407 crore. The company incurred employee benefit expenses of Rs 749 crore, finance costs of Rs 27 crore, and depreciation and amortisation expenses of Rs 557 crore.
The company also noted that implementation details and pricing mechanisms under the End-of-Life Vehicles (EPR) Rules, 2025 are still awaited. Accordingly, no provision has been recognised relating to these obligations as the financial impact cannot yet be measured reliably.

Final Dividend and Other Board Decisions
Hyundai Motor India's Board confirmed that the record date for the final dividend of Rs 21 per equity share is Wednesday, August 5, 2026, subject to shareholders' approval at the company's 30th Annual General Meeting scheduled for August 26, 2026. Eligible shareholders whose names appear in the register of members or beneficial owners on the record date will receive the dividend upon approval.
The Board also approved the appointment of Mukundan MS as Whole-time Director and Chief Manufacturing Officer with effect from September 1, 2026, appointed Young Geon Kim as Senior Management Personnel effective August 1, 2026, and re-appointed Geeyes & Co. as the company's Cost Auditor for FY27. It also noted the superannuation of Gopalakrishnan CS as Whole-time Director and Chief Manufacturing Officer effective August 31, 2026.
