Data Centre and Cloud Infrastructure Company Reports 13% Profit Growth; Operationalises Two Data Centre Campuses, Targets 63 MW Capacity by FY27
Anant Raj reported higher September-quarter revenue and profit while progressing overseas cloud marketing, data-centre expansion and a luxury residential launch in Gurugram.
✨ Key Takeaways
Anant Raj is building a second growth platform in data centres and cloud services alongside its Delhi-NCR Real Estate business. The company has reported higher September-quarter earnings while taking steps to market its Haryana-based cloud capacity internationally and prepare a new luxury housing launch in Gurugram.
Consolidated revenue from operations rose 4.9 per cent YoY to Rs 661.53 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. Revenue was also 4.8 per cent higher QoQ. Profit for the period increased 13.3 per cent YoY and 4.9 per cent QoQ to Rs 156.49 crore. Basic and diluted earnings per share improved to Rs 4.36 from Rs 4.02 a year earlier.
Total income stood at Rs 678.95 crore, up from Rs 640.89 crore in the year-earlier quarter. Profit before exceptional items, Tax and the share of profit in associates was Rs 187.78 crore, compared with Rs 164.43 crore a year earlier. There were no exceptional items. Cost of sales declined to Rs 427.75 crore from Rs 439.16 crore, although total expenses rose to Rs 491.17 crore due to higher depreciation and other operating costs.
For the first half ended September 30, consolidated revenue from operations rose to Rs 1,292.93 crore from Rs 1,223.20 crore, while profit increased to Rs 305.68 crore from Rs 264.08 crore. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified conclusion on the consolidated results approved by the board on October 28.
Separately, Anant Raj Cloud Singapore, a wholly owned subsidiary, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haryana government and Orange Business Services Singapore. The arrangement is intended to promote Haryana as a hub for data centres, sovereign cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure, and to market cloud services globally. Orange Business has indicated its intention to participate as a technology partner, subject to mutually acceptable terms.
The company said its two operational data-centre campuses have a combined capacity of 28 megawatts and it is targeting 63 megawatts by the end of FY2026-27. It also received registration from the Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority for The Estate One, a luxury group-housing project in Sector 63A, Gurugram, with around 1.22 million square feet of built-up potential. The project is expected to be launched shortly.
As of 3:10 pm on October 28, 2026, Anant Raj shares were trading at Rs 463.50, while the previous close was Rs 467.10. The stock was down 0.85 per cent from the prior close and had declined 28.99 per cent over one year, compared with a 9.01 per cent fall in the BSE 500 over the same period.
What This Means for Investors
The quarterly performance indicates that Anant Raj’s property-led earnings base remains profitable as it funds a broader expansion into digital infrastructure. The Singapore marketing vehicle and Haryana memorandum support the company’s effort to attract international cloud and data-centre customers. The Estate One approval also adds a sizeable premium residential project to the Gurugram development pipeline. However, the financial impact of both initiatives will depend on launch execution, sales collections, customer contracts and the pace at which new data-centre capacity is absorbed.
The development is strategically supportive because the company is pursuing higher-value cloud and artificial intelligence services rather than relying solely on colocation capacity. Yet the execution challenge is substantial. Capacity is targeted to rise from 28 megawatts currently to 63 megawatts by FY2026-27, while the longer-term target is 357 megawatts by FY2031-32. At 29.05 times trailing twelve-month earnings, the valuation continues to reflect expectations of successful digital-infrastructure monetisation. Operating cash conversion and evidence of sustained cloud utilisation remain important markers alongside real estate launches.
