India's Largest Two-Wheeler Manufacturer Reports Highest-Ever Monthly Sales of 6.30 Lakh Units in July; EV Sales Jump 158% YoY

On Monday, Indian equity benchmark indices traded higher, with the benchmark Nifty 50 index rising 218.25 points, or 0.90 per cent, to 24,601.85. Despite the positive market sentiment, TVS Motor Company shares traded 0.35 per cent lower at Rs 4,298 after the company announced its monthly sales update for July 2026.

TVS Motor July 2026 Sales Performance

TVS Motor Company reported its highest-ever monthly sales of 6,29,675 units in July 2026, registering a 38 per cent year-on-year growth compared with 4,56,350 units sold in July 2025. The company also achieved record monthly sales in its international business, electric vehicle (EV), and three-wheeler segments.

TVS Motor Two-Wheeler Sales

Total two-wheeler sales increased 38 per cent YoY to 6,03,138 units in July 2026 from 4,38,790 units in the corresponding month last year. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 42 per cent to 4,37,394 units, compared with 3,08,720 units in July 2025, reflecting healthy demand in the domestic market.

Electric Vehicle Sales

The company's electric vehicle business continued its strong momentum, with two-wheeler EV sales surging 158 per cent year-on-year to 60,934 units in July 2026, compared with 23,605 units in the year-ago period, marking the highest-ever monthly EV sales for the company.

International Business and Three-Wheelers

TVS Motor's international business recorded its highest-ever monthly sales of 1,84,264 units, up 29 per cent from 1,42,629 units in July 2025. International two-wheeler sales rose 27 per cent to 1,65,744 units.

The company's three-wheeler business also delivered a strong performance, with sales increasing 51 per cent YoY to 26,537 units, compared with 17,560 units in the corresponding month last year, representing its highest-ever monthly three-wheeler sales.
