The announcement has been made under Regulation 29 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, which mandates prior intimation of board meetings involving key financial decisions. While the company has not disclosed the bonus ratio at this stage, further clarity is expected after the board meeting outcome is announced.

In addition, LIC stated that the trading window for dealing in its equity shares remains closed. This closure is in line with the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, and the company’s internal code of conduct. The trading window will reopen 48 hours after the declaration of financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026.
