Market update: All sectoral indices trading in green; these stocks scaling 52-week high

Getting a positive handover from the US market, Nifty 50 opened in green at 17177.60 against the previous close of 17086.25, up by almost 90 points. Currently, it is trading at 17193.9. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, only 3 are trading below their previous close and 47 are trading above their yesterday close. In today’s trade, more stocks are trading in favour of advances. Overall as well, we see that more stocks are trading in green.

After being in the worst performer for many days, in Tuesday's trading session the best performing index is NIFTY MEDIA, which is up by 1.9 per cent. This is followed by NIFTY SMALLCAP 100, which is up by  1.44 per cent. The worst performing index currently (10:27 am) is NIFTY PRIVATE BANK. It is marginally up by 0.20 per cent. Out of the 10 companies forming part of the index, two companies are trading in red, while eight are trading in green.

The overall market breadth is trading in favour of advances. Currently, advance to decline ratio stands as 264:32.
