Rappid Valves Secures Indian Navy-Linked Order

Rappid Valves (India) Ltd has received an order worth approximately Rs 18.05 crore, excluding Taxes, from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) for the supply of valves and components for the Indian Navy's 5 Fleet Support Ships Programme.

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and marks a significant addition to the company's Order Book, strengthening its presence in the defence and marine infrastructure segment.

Execution Timeline Extends Up To FY28

According to the company's filing, the order is expected to be executed over multiple phases. Supplies for three ships are expected to be completed within approximately one year, while supplies for the remaining two ships are scheduled for execution by FY 2027-28.

The contract is valued at Rs 18,05,76,000, excluding taxes. The company also clarified that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity and that the transaction does not qualify as a related-party transaction.
