Client Base Grows 18 per cent YoY
Angel One's total client base increased to 39.03 million in July 2026, compared with 33.06 million in July 2025, registering an 18.1 per cent year-on-year growth. On a sequential basis, the client base grew 1.1 per cent from 38.59 million in June 2026.
During the month, the company added 0.47 million gross clients, up 4.0 per cent month-on-month, although gross client acquisition declined 26.7 per cent compared with the corresponding month last year.

The company's average client funding book rose to a record Rs 70.81 billion, compared with Rs 67.83 billion in June 2026 and Rs 50.79 billion in July 2025, reflecting a 4.4 per cent month-on-month and 39.4 per cent year-on-year growth. According to the company, the business continued to demonstrate healthy underlying momentum, supported by sustained strength in its funding book.
Trading Activity and Market Share
Angel One processed 134.68 million orders during July 2026, representing a 9.5 per cent increase over 123.00 million orders in July 2025. However, on a monthly basis, the number of orders declined 3.8 per cent from 140.04 million in June 2026.
Average daily orders stood at 5.86 million, down 12.2 per cent month-on-month, but up 9.5 per cent year-on-year. The company attributed the sequential decline to relatively softer market conditions during the month.
Based on notional turnover, Angel One's overall average daily turnover (ADTO) stood at Rs 48,787 billion, while F&O ADTO was Rs 46,889 billion. On an option premium basis, overall ADTO increased 82.3 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2,032 billion, reflecting continued activity in derivatives trading.
The company's overall equity retail market share improved to 20.0 per cent from 19.8 per cent in the previous month, while the F&O retail market share increased to 22.2 per cent from 22.1 per cent. Cash market share also improved sequentially to 17.1 per cent, whereas commodity market share moderated to 48.0 per cent during the month.

SIP Registrations Recover Sequentially
Angel One registered 621.76 thousand Mutual Fund SIPs during July 2026, compared with 564.92 thousand in June 2026, reflecting a 10.1 per cent month-on-month increase. However, compared with 889.21 thousand SIP registrations in July 2025, the figure declined 30.1 per cent year-on-year. Despite the annual decline, the company noted that SIP registrations reached a five-month high, indicating resilient customer engagement amid relatively softer market conditions.

The company stated that the business continued to demonstrate healthy underlying momentum during July, led by a record average client funding book. It added that overall equity market share improved sequentially, supported by gains in both the cash and F&O segments. While commodity market share moderated due to changes in the industry product mix and average daily orders declined amid softer market conditions, customer engagement remained resilient with SIP registrations reaching a five-month high.
