If we look at the funds which are open for subscription then there are 33 per cent of the funds of close-ended type and 67 per cent are from open-ended type. There are overall 6 funds which are open for subscription and among those 2 are income category close-ended funds and from open-ended type all the 4 funds are from different category viz. debt scheme – overnight funds, equity scheme – ELSS (Equity Linked Saving Scheme), equity scheme – mid-cap fund and equity scheme – focused fund.
