Orient Green Power Expansion Update

Orient Green Power informed exchanges that its material subsidiary, Beta Wind Farm Private Limited, has approved expansion of installed wind power capacity aggregating to 6.6 MW.

The company stated that Beta Wind Farm received a proposal from Renfra Energy India Limited for expansion of installed capacity and subsequently issued a Letter of Intent (LOI) for supply, installation and commissioning of two Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) of 3.3 MW each at Karur District, Tamil Nadu on a turnkey basis.

According to the filing, Renfra Energy India accepted the LOI on May 19, 2026, following which the Investment / Borrowing / Banking Committee of Beta Wind Farm approved the expansion proposal and authorised officials to finalise terms for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract.

Orient Green Power Project Details

The company stated that the total consideration for the project is around Rs 62 crore, inclusive of GST. The contract is expected to be executed on or before July 31, 2026.

The project involves installation of two 3.3 MW wind turbine generators aggregating to 6.6 MW capacity and will be developed in Karur District, Tamil Nadu. The company also clarified that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
