R M Drip and Sprinklers Systems Limited (NSE: RMDRIP) has announced a significant manufacturing expansion that will increase its overall production capacity by approximately 50 per cent. The Board of Directors approved the establishment of a new, state-of-the-art facility in Sinnar, Nashik, through its proposed wholly-owned subsidiary, Brahmanand Pipes Private Limited. With an installed capacity of 12,000 metric tonnes per annum, this move is designed to scale operations and unlock long-term shareholder value.
The expansion is strategically positioned to capitalise on recent GST reductions in the agricultural sector and meet rising demand across irrigation, infrastructure, and industrial segments. By expanding its manufacturing footprint and improving asset utilisation, the company aims to enhance its operating leverage and margin profile. This additional capacity will also strengthen RMDRIP’s competitiveness when bidding for large-scale government and institutional projects.
The new facility will produce a diverse range of products, including high-speed drip irrigation systems, HDPE pipes, telecom ducts, and specialised moulded accessories. This diversification strategy reduces product concentration risk and aligns the company with structural growth in water infrastructure and rural development. By targeting these high-growth markets, RMDRIP is well-positioned to benefit from ongoing trends in agricultural modernisation and industrial expansion.
