Railway Stock Under Rs 50; Bags Rs 3.78 Crore Order From Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board

The Indian equity markets traded lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Nifty 50 index declining by 0.43 per cent to 24,015.85 during the session. Broad-based weakness remained visible across benchmark indices; however, stock-specific developments kept select microcap industrial counters in focus. In this segment, MIC Electronics remained on investors radar after the company informed exchanges about receipt of a fresh domestic order from a government entity. Despite the order update, MIC Electronics share price traded lower by 1.94 per cent at Rs 44.52 on Tuesday.

MIC Electronics Receives Rs 3.78 Crore Government Order

MIC Electronics informed the exchanges that it has received a Letter of Acceptance from Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board, Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar, for Design, Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Lab Furniture for the Central Environmental Laboratory in Nava Raipur, Raipur.

The total order size stands at Rs 3,78,00,00 and has been awarded by a domestic entity through a tender participation route. The company stated that the project is to be executed within a period of 12 months. The order was received by the company on May 4, 2026 at 3:30 PM.

Domestic Tender Win Adds To Order Execution Pipeline

As per the filing, the company clarified that none of the promoter or promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority and the order does not fall under related party transactions.

The latest government-backed laboratory infrastructure assignment adds to MIC Electronics’ execution pipeline in the industrial and public infrastructure segment, where the company has been participating in institutional tender-based contracts.
