150 MW Solar Project Commissioned at Khavda

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) informed the stock exchanges that it has operationalised a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat, through its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited (ARE8L).

The company stated that, after receiving the required clearances, it decided at 10:42 p.m. on June 27, 2026, to operationalise the project, with commercial power generation commencing from June 28, 2026.

Operational Capacity Reaches 19,985.8 MW

Following the commissioning of the new project, AGEL's total operational renewable energy generation capacity has increased to 19,985.8 MW, placing the company just 15 MW short of the 20 GW milestone.

The commissioning also increased the company's total Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity to 3,366 MWh, further strengthening its integrated renewable energy and energy storage portfolio.

Strengthens Presence at Khavda

The newly commissioned project expands Adani Green's renewable energy footprint in Khavda, one of India's largest renewable energy hubs. The addition further strengthens the company's utility-scale solar portfolio while enhancing its renewable energy generation capacity in Gujarat.

The company stated that the expansion forms part of its ongoing renewable energy capacity addition strategy, with battery storage continuing to complement its renewable power assets to support grid stability and dispatch reliability.
