RailTel Corporation of India informed the exchanges that it has received a Letter of Intent from the Additional Commissioner for Transport, Enforcement (South) for execution of an ITMS Project for Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
As per the filing, the estimated size of the order stands at Rs 49,67,21,000 including Tax. The contract has been awarded by a domestic government entity and is scheduled to be executed by November 3, 2026. The company received the Letter of Intent on May 4, 2026 at 3:29 PM.
Fresh Government Order Adds To RailTel’s Project Pipeline
The company clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group has any interest in the awarding authority and the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
The latest Karnataka government project further strengthens RailTel’s order execution pipeline in transport digitisation, intelligent traffic systems, communication networks and public sector technology infrastructure, where the company continues to secure projects from central and state government departments.
