EMS Emerges as L1 Bidder for Delhi Jal Board Project
EMS Limited has secured L1 (lowest bidder) status for a sewerage infrastructure project awarded by the Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Sarkar, Office of the Executive Engineer (C), DR-XV, Jal Sadan Annexe, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. The estimated contract value is Rs 15,828.57 lakh (approximately Rs 158.29 crore), inclusive of GST. The company said it will provide further updates upon receipt of the formal Letter of Award (LoA).
Project to Be Executed Over 15 Months
The scope of work includes providing, laying and jointing internal and peripheral sewer lines in Tikri Kalan GOC under the command area of the proposed Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Tikri Kalan under NIT-01. The project is scheduled to be executed within 15 months.
The company stated that the project has been awarded by a domestic entity, and the terms and conditions are as per the contract. It also confirmed that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding authority and that the contract does not constitute a related-party transaction.
