Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) has successfully emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for two significant infrastructure projects in Gujarat, totalling Rs 1,370.02 crore. Both tenders were floated by the Narmada Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpasar Department, Government of Gujarat. The first project, valued at Rs 702.00 crore, and the second, valued at Rs 668.02 crore, both involve the Construction of flood protection emBankments on the Narmada River in the Bharuch district. These domestic contracts reflect a substantial addition to the company's Order Book within the state's water resource management sector.
Both projects will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, with a strict completion timeline of 24 months each. The scope of work focuses on enhancing the river's infrastructure to mitigate flood risks, a critical requirement for the Bharuch region. As these are standard domestic government contracts awarded through a competitive bidding process, the figures quoted exclude GST. This dual win underscores DBL's competitive positioning in large-scale civil engineering and embankment works.
