Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.55 per cent at 81,442 and the Nifty-50 up 0.53 per cent at 24,751. About 2,076 shares have advanced, 1,931 shares have declined and 148 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.38 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.65 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Brainbees Solutions Ltd, JSW Infrastructure Ltd and SJVN Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Rama Steel Tubes Ltd and Permanent Magnets Ltd.​​​​​​​

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Services Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Auto Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index were the Top Losers.

As of June 05, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 448 lakh crore or USD 5.22 trillion. On the same day, 109 stocks hit a 52-week high while 36 stocks touched a 52-week low.
