Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Friday with the Sensex up 0.01 per cent at 83,443 and the Nifty-50 up 0.01 per cent at 25,461. About 1,701 shares have advanced, 2,464 shares have declined and 190 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.15 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.33 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Relaxo Footwears Ltd, Petronet LNG Ltd, Cummins India Ltd and Emami Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd, PC Jeweller Ltd, KRN Heat Exchanger and Refrigeration Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of July 07, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 461 lakh crore or USD 5.37 trillion. On the same day, 156 stocks hit a 52-week high while 59 stocks touched a 52-week low.
