Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.21 per cent at 83,536 and the Nifty-50 down 0.18 per cent at 25,476. About 2,076 shares have advanced, 1,926 shares have declined and 140 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.05 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.45 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Emami Ltd, MRF Ltd, FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd and Coromandel International Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were 63 Moons Technologies Ltd, Advait Energy Transitions Limited, John Cockerill India Ltd and Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Metals Index were the Top Losers.

As of July 09, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 461 lakh crore or USD 5.38 trillion. On the same day, 130 stocks hit a 52-week high while 41 stocks touched a 52-week low.
