Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.41 per cent at 83,190 and the Nifty-50 down 0.47 per cent at 25,355. About 1,959 shares have advanced, 2,064 shares have declined and 138 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.28 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.12 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Premier Energies Ltd, One 97 Communications Ltd and Relaxo Footwears Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Paushak Ltd, Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, Flair Writing Industries Ltd and ACME Solar Holdings Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Realty Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Teck Index were the Top Losers.

As of July 10, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 460 lakh crore or USD 5.38 trillion. On the same day, 146 stocks hit a 52-week high while 49 stocks touched a 52-week low.
