Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.02 per cent at 82,187 and the Nifty-50 down 0.12 per cent at 25,061. About 1,787 shares have advanced, 2,232 shares have declined and 179 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.62 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.17 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd, The Ramco Cements Ltd, 3M India Ltd and One 97 Communications Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were AGI Greenpac Ltd, RACL Geartech Ltd, Tilaknagar Industries Ltd and SML ISUZU Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Consumer Discretionary Index and BSE Commodities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Telecommunication Index were the Top Losers.

As of July 22, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 459 lakh crore or USD 5.32 trillion. On the same day, 150 stocks hit a 52-week high while 33 stocks touched a 52-week low.
