Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.18 per cent at 81,482 and the Nifty-50 up 0.14 per cent at 24,855. About 2,028 shares have advanced, 1,968 shares have declined and 162 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.17 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.17 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were New India Assurance Company Ltd, Coromandel International Ltd, Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd and KPIT Technologies Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Bliss GVS Pharma Ltd, Foseco India Ltd, Refex Industries Ltd and Marathon Nextgen Realty Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Industrial Index and BSE Teck Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Services Index and BSE Auto Index were the Top Losers.

As of July 30, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 452 lakh crore or USD 5.18 trillion. On the same day, 144 stocks hit a 52-week high while 66 stocks touched a 52-week low.
