Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.52 per cent at 81,019 and the Nifty-50 up 0.64 per cent at 24,723. About 2,288 shares have advanced, 1,847 shares have declined and 172 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.11 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.76 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Aditya Birla Capital Ltd, Delhivery Ltd, UPL Ltd and Endurance Technologies Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd, Renaissance Global Ltd, Peninsula Land Ltd and Deep Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, indices were traded mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Metals Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Bankex Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Losers.

As of August 04, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 449 lakh crore or USD 5.13 trillion. On the same day, 124 stocks hit a 52-week high while 125 stocks touched a 52-week low.
