Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.10 per cent at 80,623 and the Nifty-50 up 0.09 per cent at 24,596. About 1,844 shares have advanced, 2,193 shares have declined and 154 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.30 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.18 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Lupin Ltd, Coforge Ltd, 3M India Ltd and Torrent Power Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd, Avalon Technologies Ltd and Rain Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, indices were traded mixed with the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.

As of August 07, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 446 lakh crore or USD 5.08 trillion. On the same day, 111 stocks hit a 52-week high while 161 stocks touched a 52-week low.
